This morning as I pulled out the honey to add to my tea, a touch of cool in the air, I thought “Thank you God for the abundance in my life!” We have SO much in life to be thankful for if you broaden your thoughts to the world at large, then reel them in even to the community around you. Do you have three meals a day? One out of every eight families do not and often live hungry. Do you have a job or some form of income? Over 13% of our current county population does not Do you have a family that loves you? There are many who don’t and who face special days and holidays in their lives alone or seeking companionship to fill the time. Do you have a spouse that loves you and shows it? Even more than ever before, many don’t. True love is missing inside of relationships and in especially in dating scenarios as people seek meaningful relationships in their lives without finding it. (Stay tuned for more on this). An attitude of abundance is being grateful for the large and small blessings in your life, counting them daily, and never tiring of doing so. It’s the honey in your tea, the vanilla creme or sugar in your coffee, the fact that you even have coffee!, the breath that you’re breathing, or the fact that God has granted you another day to appreciate these small and large things. Appreciate the fact that you have life and another day to love deeply and make a difference. That opportunity is right in front of you if you but pay careful attention. It’s a hug to someone who needs it. It’s a meal to someone who can’t make it for him or herself. It’s a ride to someone who doesn’t have it. It’s a mental, physical, emotional or spiritual life that you, and only you, have the ability to administer to that other person because you’re there. It’s up to you to first gain, then share, at attitude of abundance. Start today. It makes the world a better place, starting with yours.
In Abundance,
Tracy
