Change is difficult for many people. Change to the degree that our health care is being challenged, changed, uprooted, our lives more exposed for the “greater good” is the topic for today. Whether you are for it or against the bill as it stands, you have to admit “yes, something needed to be done”. I’m not sure this is the answer. There are much more obvious fixes to the current system than what we are currently facing. And now we get to pay even more in costs while each individual state challenges the constitutionality and oppose implementation at all levels. If we had the money that was just spent on this endeavor, what kind of an impact could we make for the “great good”. And most of all, I like the proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution which says “Congress shall not impose any law on the citizenry that it also will not be held to  and will not pass any law for themselves that the citizenry will not also be allowed.”
