Isn’t life amazing? It gives us much to ponder, figure out, learn and experience as we go along this journey. Have you ever pondered all the intricacies of how it was designed to be and why? If you ever just step back and think “why was it created the way it was?” “Why can young people not learn from our experience? Why must they learn it on their own?” “Why do we also have to figure things our for ourselves? Why can’t someone just explain it all and let us get ahead on the learning curve?”  These truly are rhetorical questions for you to think about. How uninteresting might it be if we had all the answers and knew exactly how our lives were going to pan out? How easy, but unimaginative, would it be if we saw the overall design and plan rather that feeling our way along the walls of life? And, if we really saw it all, could we handle the magnitude of what God sees every day and knows the weight of the good and bad alike that we all will experience?

As we consider the miracle of Easter, of Pesach, of life, of Spring (thank goodness and FINALLY! Whew!), any one of these could boggle our minds if we let it and took the time to ponder it fully. Instead, we are conditioned to focus on the here and now, some of us looking ahead more than others who look back, but few living really in the present.  Think now about the magnificence of you and your life for a moment. Regardless of how good or bad your life may be at the moment, it is still a miracle living and experiencing life. Pause, if even for just a moment, and look around you as spring comes to life – it’s a miracle. That baby that you hold in your arms, a miracle of birth. The way the clouds move and yet our feet stay planted on the ground. Stop for a moment an celebrate the miracle of life and living!
