Success...This Exit!

Now that you have your 103 life goals identified, you’ve narrowed it down to your top 10 and now your daily top 5, we are going to identify some of the obstacles that are getting in your way of accomplishing these goals. These are called “limiting beliefs”.  Limiting beliefs are those things that you have been told your entire life by those who love you and those you love, such as “You’ll never amount to anything.”, “Money doesn’t grow on trees” (meaning, money is hard to get), “You have to work hard to do well in life”, “Get a good education, keep your nose clean and you’ll be okay.”, “You’re too stupid!”, “Rich people are greedy.”, etc.


As you wrote down your goals, what is the little disbelieving voice that you heard in your head? You know the little voice. The one that creates uncertainty, questions you, makes you doubt whether you can really accomplish those things that are your heart’s desire. These are the thoughts that keep you stuck where you are and are the obstacles that keep you from going where you need and want to go in your life.  Your loved ones do not realize that by, as an example, telling a child they are stupid, that this belief can have lasting implications FOREVER, unless this eventual adult works dilligently to change those pre-recorded messages programmed into their subconscious. These tapes play over and over and over 24 hours/day and throughout our lifetimes until we change the message that our subconscious is giving us. What I want you to do is:

Write 3 personal beliefs about money:

Write 3 personal beliefs about success:

Write 3 personal beliefs about wealth:

What did you learn? Are they positive statements or negative? What is HUGE to understand here is that you will NEVER achieve financially if you despise those things which you say you want! This is KEY!

Now write these three beliefs down in these three areas in the positive if they were not already: (repeat the exercise above)


You can perform this same exercise in any area:  life, spiritual, health, work, career relationship, etc., by using the same exercise. Write 3 personal beliefs about ______________ (fill in the blank). 


This is just the beginning of addressing and repeating those positive statements that will help move your closer to your goals. Practice reaffirming these positive beliefs over the negative and become VERY tuned in to that little voice. That little voice governs all of your activities and ultimately your life. The more you can learn to better direct this voice to be positive rather than negative, the more you will control your destiny.
