I often wonder how much people will take before they rise and say NO MORE! The problem is that the people with the power to change things won’t because they are benefiting from things as they are while they choke the life and money out of us to sustain those who can’t (or won’t) sustain themselves. When it is easier to have a baby and let Medicaid pay for it than to have personal insurance to pay for your yourself at $600/month and get $3000-$5000 back on your taxes for every kid you pop out, when it makes more sense to accept Social Security than to get a job because for every dollar you make over a certain amount they take some of your social security, when it makes more sense to get social security than to save your own money and support your own health care and retirement, when it makes more sense to accept unemployment than to make the same amount working, when it makes more sense to accept welfare, public housing, socialized health care, than to try to stand on your own two feet and deal with the stress of commuting, working 12 hour days and working just to pay your bills and taxes while those on public assistance purchase 60″ TV’s, get their hair and nails done weekly, have better dental plans and cell phones than you and I do, as long as this is the case, I can’t see things changing. Many have become lazy and expectant – they want the benefit of social services but they don’t want socialism. They can’t be half in and half out of the boat. Either stand on your own two feet and make it on your own, telling the government “I will do without my social services to have true capitalism back in order to not have to support everyone else” or everyone just give up the fight and let government do everything for us, which includes whether we live or die, whether we get to keep any of our money or not, and not whimper and complain when they do it. We need to choose and as a nation, pick one side or the other and stop trying to straddle WIFM, getting what we need from it and then complaining that someone else is doing the same thing. I’m just sayin’…

Time to become responsible for ourselves 100% and expect others to do the same!
