It is easy during tough times to begin to see that the glass may be 1/2 empty and draining on you. It is during these times that the strong and certain look for a way to re-fill the glass. It is a spirit of thanksgiving that will help you to look around and seek those inspirational moments to rejuvenate your belief that “life is good” and we have much to be grateful for. It is also easy to look to others to improve our lots in life rather than looking at the man or woman in the mirror and determining that YOU are the best person to help change your circumstances. Are you focusing on the most important task each and every day? Are you taking small or large steps toward your top five goals every day? Are you distracted and fuzzy on where your life is going or how you are going to get there? Then you need a nudge in the right direction, which is what Life Coaching is all about. It helps you identify clear and concise goals, create an action and accountability plan towards them, so that you can be certain if you do “X, Y, and Z” it will take you to those goals. Focus and clarity is crucial but during this week, having the spirit of thanksgiving in our hearts will go a very long way in refilling those 1/2 empty glasses. Look at the blessings in our lives and multiply those rather than focusing on any challenges we may be facing. Tough times don’t last, but tough people do!
