Some days it is important to “just be”. This is probably one of the most difficult acts for many of us to do as we are used to being people of action and movement. “Being” may appear to some as inaction or laziness or that something is wrong with you if you are usually always on the go. Part of “being” is reflection, centering yourself, assessing where you are, where you’re going, to be SURE you are on point and that the path you are on will take you where you need to be. Running haplessly just to run and move and feel like you are doing something isn’t always the best use of your time. Collecting yourself, letting your mental, emotional and physical power reset and store up, a look around at the scenery, a deep breath, and you will find yourself renewed and refreshed for the challenges ahead. This is soooooooooooooo critical to your ultimate success! If you run at the speed of light to exhaustion, when you do hit a rough patch in life, which is inevitable, you may not have the fortitude to push through it if you are burnt out, stressed out and run down. If you have not read Eckhart Tolle’s book “A New Earth”, this is a great insight into the motivators that keep you moving and doing and challenges us to “learn to be”. I challenge you today as spring approaches to realize that even nature takes a break – in order to produce the beauty that we see around us as flowers bloom and grass grows again, there is winter. Refresh, rejuvenate and prepare for a wondrous spring and summer of family time, love, life and work to create memories that will last a lifetime.
To Your Ultimate Success!
