People ask me from time to time how I get the inspiration to write what I write here. My subconscious mind and God gives me something first thing every day as I wake up. Whether I get the chance to get here to write it down is sometimes the challenge. If it stays with me through the day and presses me to put it into writing, you get to read it. If not, themes will stay on my heart sometimes for days until I get back to my computer with a bit of time to put it ‘out there’ into the universe. This morning I woke up with the word YOU on my mind. Naturally I thought it was a continuation from the blog last night and was prepared to put it into words. Then the impression came even stronger “No, not them, YOU”. “Woooooooooooooah there God, you mean ME?” And the Wee Small Voice came back, “Yes, you.” So there you have it for today guys and gals. The lesson I got is not about anyone else but ME today (or in your case, YOU). Often we get so caught up in looking around at what others are doing or not doing or what is going around in others’ lives but not pausing to look at ourselves. So today I will spend reflecting, as mental time allows, on me and what I can do to become the better person God has in store for me. It is often so much easier to instruct others than to take our own medicine and do what needs to be done. After taking a bite of humble pie this morning, I will chew on it for the day and hope that you will share my meal if it fits your particular situation.
With You in Learning,
Tracy
